Short biography
Lotta Strandberg is working as a research Co-ordinator at NIKK, Nordic Institute for Women's Studies and Gender Research. Her academic affiliation is the University of Helsinki, Department of Comparative Literature. She has worked on Scandinavian women's writers earlier, but started to do research on postcolonialism and postcolonial literature some years ago. She is particularly working on Indian English women's fiction. She is closely connected to NORA, Nordic Journal for Women's Studies and is the acting General Editor.
